This time I bring you The Beltones. Man, did I love this band. I was always so bummed I never got to see them live. I actually went to their show in Philly, they were playing with Slaughter and the Dogs. We had heard Slaughter was using all the local show opening band's instruments since they didn't bring their own from England. We also heard that Slaughter and the Dogs was trashing the band's gear when they were done. If the story is true, Bill and The Beltones took offense to this and dropped off the tour. Now whether or not that story is true, I don't know. But I do know that I ended up not seeing the Beltones play. But I digress... on to the records.<br />
<br />
<b>Lock And Load 7"</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWVUmKWB0BPErLhX4WiLJF4u4X8nDRMgHmLWAjP_CNh-yQ1gmU-WnzEQ_m9NRZZniVwQQs07YizwEwbOzCDWE-SDwym2u-W43OYins-DLG18LncAfqxYdHm9UvqK4e-XE2piSVeF6Q4jE/s1600/DSC_0242.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWVUmKWB0BPErLhX4WiLJF4u4X8nDRMgHmLWAjP_CNh-yQ1gmU-WnzEQ_m9NRZZniVwQQs07YizwEwbOzCDWE-SDwym2u-W43OYins-DLG18LncAfqxYdHm9UvqK4e-XE2piSVeF6Q4jE/s1600/DSC_0242.JPG" height="340" width="640" /></a></div>
This is The Beltones first release, the Lock and Load 7" on Far Out Records. I'm not sure of the pressing numbers for this release. It was done on clear vinyl and black vinyl. I'm fairly certain the clear vinyl was limited to 100 copies.<br />
<br />

<b>My Old Man 7"</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRHl4afuCUTXtlf9naA7GgCDnGO4z1o7F1b8Ryyqkw35l8OclXQ0l5BcVGZSzXN5T9JO2iJIt_FFJJioL1ocE0xTMw8GVos9x8IGWJAPm6bvHCh4xzfo5BbYDzrwcD8ObZZdbFU3keQkc/s1600/DSC_0243.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRHl4afuCUTXtlf9naA7GgCDnGO4z1o7F1b8Ryyqkw35l8OclXQ0l5BcVGZSzXN5T9JO2iJIt_FFJJioL1ocE0xTMw8GVos9x8IGWJAPm6bvHCh4xzfo5BbYDzrwcD8ObZZdbFU3keQkc/s1600/DSC_0243.jpg" height="354" width="640" /></a></div>
The band's next release was the My Old Man 7". This came out on Just Add Water Records, on black vinyl and white vinyl. The white vinyl was limited to 100 copies. All the info I find on this record says it was just one pressing, but I'm not so sure that's correct. The A and B side labels are completely different from the white to black versions. Plus the sleeve with the white vinyl is printed on a heavier cardstock, while the black vinyl has a thin glossy paper sleeve.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Naming My Bullets 7"</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijU_RWPRfX7dUwUacm3vVaBnxTIxTkILbboUxI24jUUPaGzx-AwO_qWzg-Bk6BTBXyHjxAw2U3tLb1ljxpQZ3_qNTVabSgo72KKxGZBS52NNnEATW7IvfkNGKrSj8kvwhvFIncVxgPQLE/s1600/DSC_0245.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijU_RWPRfX7dUwUacm3vVaBnxTIxTkILbboUxI24jUUPaGzx-AwO_qWzg-Bk6BTBXyHjxAw2U3tLb1ljxpQZ3_qNTVabSgo72KKxGZBS52NNnEATW7IvfkNGKrSj8kvwhvFIncVxgPQLE/s1600/DSC_0245.jpg" height="348" width="640" /></a></div>
Next up was the Naming My Bullets 7". This came out on TKO Records, one pressing on both green vinyl and black vinyl. The green copies were limited to 100.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrCI1zEky3_-NPwWeLWYRbjcO3GPV46uhGUBrExOHGi2niUFL5i5q9dAgZ0kFD_luS3I3Xq7F9uTluz0JeIMsPIZB60RQj7RMWPzneLcINCQb6EYh1UFxG-lfj8TD6txlG2GgnhzfEx20/s1600/DSC_0244.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrCI1zEky3_-NPwWeLWYRbjcO3GPV46uhGUBrExOHGi2niUFL5i5q9dAgZ0kFD_luS3I3Xq7F9uTluz0JeIMsPIZB60RQj7RMWPzneLcINCQb6EYh1UFxG-lfj8TD6txlG2GgnhzfEx20/s1600/DSC_0244.JPG" height="332" width="640" /></a></div>
I was also able to get my grubby little hands on a test pressing of the Naming My Bullets 7". I don't know how many tests were made, for some reasons I think I remember hearing seven, but I could be wrong.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Shitty In Pink 7"</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiUr2s5prJHQa01FjId0kyFJM7wFbt5Mzq11BESzh8muhqb5qToOt1mDAh-YtsIN3RKFbgzkRLBoyOGtNDOK0uz3AiWNr29JDjuDneu3db0rxVwIvmmdaYK8_9H_qaxM2pr7hz4XCn5bU/s1600/DSC_0247.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiUr2s5prJHQa01FjId0kyFJM7wFbt5Mzq11BESzh8muhqb5qToOt1mDAh-YtsIN3RKFbgzkRLBoyOGtNDOK0uz3AiWNr29JDjuDneu3db0rxVwIvmmdaYK8_9H_qaxM2pr7hz4XCn5bU/s1600/DSC_0247.jpg" height="338" width="640" /></a></div>
This is the first pressing of the Shitty In Pink 7" on Radio Records. The first pressing had full color covers and was only on black vinyl. Limited to 1000 copies.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnXHPYg0n8eHSAZFVTSQndtji_GaoISS5FZDA6u4JqgTr5d8nrm5cKhvsCQxl_ugq7uVhK9oFllK2d4g4540A7ELCAHudZy0rdXdMSLWguFpQbyF4tBF3iF_AqtgLTylvFR9EaWNKV5hA/s1600/DSC_0252.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnXHPYg0n8eHSAZFVTSQndtji_GaoISS5FZDA6u4JqgTr5d8nrm5cKhvsCQxl_ugq7uVhK9oFllK2d4g4540A7ELCAHudZy0rdXdMSLWguFpQbyF4tBF3iF_AqtgLTylvFR9EaWNKV5hA/s1600/DSC_0252.jpg" height="398" width="640" /></a></div>
The second pressing came out on blue/green vinyl. This was limited to 250 copies. Also the cover is now just B/W photo copy of the original cover and Bill Beltone's face has been pasted over the woman's.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Of the 250 in the second pressing, 25 were set aside as the Vinyl Solution Edition. These were only available at the Vinyl Solution record store. They are hand numbered and the cover is stamped on the inside. I've got copy #2 of 25. </div>

In 2010 Modern Action Records (formerly Radio) started an Outta The Vault series of reissues. The first to be done was the Shitty In Pink 7". There was a limited version with spray painted covers, stamped dust sleeves and a painted/stamped white bag. There were only 45 and they came on purple vinyl.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPcnTVwAqkpvV6qGAQ4EDRL1YuGju_rtex49Y3rswAlnOXxnCyIUIACYi5C8I_NWBvkh2msa8S0-smWlABvB9lne7iTealt5vge7e5a2SV4i1wOuP9QjUHDNBCT9vg-ymaDtWj1LbduIk/s1600/DSC_0255.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPcnTVwAqkpvV6qGAQ4EDRL1YuGju_rtex49Y3rswAlnOXxnCyIUIACYi5C8I_NWBvkh2msa8S0-smWlABvB9lne7iTealt5vge7e5a2SV4i1wOuP9QjUHDNBCT9vg-ymaDtWj1LbduIk/s1600/DSC_0255.jpg" height="344" width="640" /></a></div>
There is also a mailorder version of this limited to 255 copies. It's the same purple vinyl, but without covers and it also has a stamped dut sleeve and brown bag instead.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj3PK28now3EwKWcG4ll43_1br3Xncflb3JpNfo8bzMBXetvVX9e5Nkwoi_4vxBM6YrdSWGsOnpSEJw6Cw_ecZPs2Nb9d0RQFciNhqR9UccW6BA0yESCa0eS75r6C34QB-r57hoDja7oM/s1600/DSC_0246.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj3PK28now3EwKWcG4ll43_1br3Xncflb3JpNfo8bzMBXetvVX9e5Nkwoi_4vxBM6YrdSWGsOnpSEJw6Cw_ecZPs2Nb9d0RQFciNhqR9UccW6BA0yESCa0eS75r6C34QB-r57hoDja7oM/s1600/DSC_0246.jpg" height="346" width="640" /></a></div>
I was also able to get a test pressing of the Shitty In Pink 7". Only three test pressings were made for this release.<br />
<br />
<b>Cheap Trinkets LP</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtGMlEGiNkIejo-GCCiReS7NeMmMp6HxIvzXXVL3XvtDCS6QcGW5ajJbiCIOj9NocQg7ueZBF_3iPhfXHPTiPAk7vTyeUBMTEDeMMBNm7Q0UOez1sI1EWwOvjWqgskM4QQkz0RCQpmp18/s1600/DSC_0241.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtGMlEGiNkIejo-GCCiReS7NeMmMp6HxIvzXXVL3XvtDCS6QcGW5ajJbiCIOj9NocQg7ueZBF_3iPhfXHPTiPAk7vTyeUBMTEDeMMBNm7Q0UOez1sI1EWwOvjWqgskM4QQkz0RCQpmp18/s1600/DSC_0241.JPG" height="344" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Finally, there is the Cheap Trinkets LP. This also came out on TKO Records. One pressing on red vinyl and black vinyl. I don't know the numbers on this release either, but it seems like the red version is pretty limited.<br />

<b>or [My Armalite Collection] is Humungous, Wouldn't You Agree?</b><br />
<br />
Alright, this is my small but respectable Armalite vinyl collection. Armalite is a band out of my hometown, Philadelphia. To say they are inactive would be an understatement. I think I attended all but two shows they ever played. They've also only had two releases, a self-titled LP and a 7" called Humungous, both on No Idea Records.<br />
<br />
<b>Self-Titled LP</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is the record release version of the LP. It came on an off white vinyl, hand numbered 13 of 13. I actually won this at the record release show in Philadelphia. They raffled off two copies during the show. I won this one. It comes with a handmade cover. I've been told the writing on the front is a cypher (feel free to try and solve it). It also came with a certificate of authenticity, which I included along with my raffle ticket stubs.<br />

This is the first pressing of the LP. It came on a yellow marbled vinyl, limited to 500 copies. It's the only pressing to also include the gatefold cover.</div>

Last but not least, this is a test pressing of the LP. I'm not sure how many were made. If I had to guess, I would say 10 or 20. They seem to be standard No Idea numbers in my experience. The cover didn't belong with the test pressing. It was one of the 13 handmade covers the band did for giveaways/promotions. I was given this one as an extra to hold my test. It also has a cypher on it.<br />

These are my copies of from the first pressing of the 7". It was limited to 500 copies and is just listed as "mix" vinyl on the No Idea discography. I bought 6 copies and left it at that.<br />
<br />

The second pressing is identical to the first, 500 copies on "mix" vinyl. I treated it the same way, getting six random copies.<br />

One of the first bands I started collecting was Career Suicide. In my opinion, these guys are the best hardcore act around today. Collecting their vinyl has been fun. They have lots of little variations to hunt out and quite a few handmade items in the catalog. It's probably one of my biggest and most impressive collections, so I wanted to document it here.<br />

Old age kicked in and responsibility called us back home. I have to say though, I had a great time with some really great people. I love kicking it with my great friends and I missed all my other friends who couldn’t be down in Florida. Such a great time.</p> <p>Oh yeah, there was also one last taco for the road!</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA310012.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5604510551924475551.post-44670376116314749442010-10-30T14:08:00.001-04:002012-02-02T14:12:49.868-05:00F Day (plus one)<div class="copy"><p>Breakfast of champions!</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300001.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300002.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>Not too many non-taco-related pics were taken today. I never got drunk enough to imagine my camera could take pictures of live bands. My first batch of shows I saw Dear Landlord, Paul Baribeau, Good Luck, and Defiance Ohio. All these bands were absolutely awesome. </p> <p>One failed attempt to photograph Dear Landlord dressed as the Insane Clown Posse during their set, hosing everyone down with Faygo.</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300004.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>After the shows, the tummy demands more tacos. We head back to Boca for dinner. I want to preface these photos first. I no way do I support the establishment of soft tacos. Soft tacos are bullshit. Plain and simple. A taco comes in a hard shell, burritos come in a soft tortilla. If you want soft, get a burrito. Don’t mess with my tacos. Unfortunately for me, Boca was sold out of just about everything. All they had left on the menu was soft tacos. In a regrettable move, I didn’t find another taco eatery and we stayed for soft tacos.</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300008.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300006.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>2 mango beef and 2 pork</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300007.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300010.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>Witness the torment as I try to digest soft tacos. Ugh. </p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300005.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>For the record, I believe that was tacos 13-16 for the weekend.</p> <p>After dinner we got back to 8 Seconds and saw The Bomb play. The Bomb was awesome. It was the #1 band on my list to see this year. So glad I finally caught them</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA300011.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>After the bomb we went on to play some drunken laser tag. Then we caught Paint It Black’s set at the venue. Last up was the Planes Mistaken for Stars “reunion” show at 8 Seconds. It was a great, great day of shows.<br /></p></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5604510551924475551.post-89199747411168930372010-10-29T14:07:00.001-04:002012-02-02T14:12:36.102-05:00The Fest!!!<div class="copy"><p>Day one of the Fest!!! Yesterday’s travels were long. My flight into Orlando was more than 3 hours late. Thankfully, Ty hung in there with the rental car and waited the 4+ hours till my arrival. After that we hit the road for the drive to Gainesville. We finally made it to Will’s place around 3am. Today we didn’t roll out of the apartment until after Noon. First things first, we hit La Margaritas for some lunch. This was the beginning of the Taco Fest as well. Nothing but tacos to eat for yours truly all weekend!</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280001.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280003.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280004.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280005.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>After lunch we drove out to St. Augustine for some beach action. We also walked around town and checked out the old Spanish fortress.</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280009.jpg" align="bottom" height="384" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280006.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280007.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280008.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>I think some of us had more beach time fun than others.</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280011.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280015.jpg" align="bottom" height="667" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280014.jpg" align="bottom" height="451" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280013.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Fest%209/PA280012.jpg" align="bottom" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>Afterwards, we headed back to Gainesville and checked out some sweet 3-D movie action. I saw a few people nearly lose their dinners in the theater. Pretty awesome first day.</p></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5604510551924475551.post-68708375331286059712010-10-27T14:05:00.001-04:002012-02-02T14:12:23.060-05:00Once more unto the Fest!<p>I’m all packed up and my plane for Orlando leaves in a matter of hours. The final final final <a title="Fest" target="_blank" href="http://www.thefestfl.com/">Fest</a> that I will ever attend. I swear for real this time! I’m gonna see some of the most awesome people there and I can’t wait. I’ll try to post some pics and blog while I’m down there, for the two (maybe three) people who read this, but let’s get real. I’m gonna be partying like a punk rock viking.</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/PA270001.jpg" align="bottom" height="667" width="500" /></p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5604510551924475551.post-56434263253979571302010-10-15T14:04:00.001-04:002012-02-02T14:12:09.384-05:00I’ma stuffa yo face witha pizza pie!<div class="copy"><p>My friend, Jenny, came over for a little backyard, end of summer, cookout this weekend. We made some grilled personal pizzas from scratch. The dough for the crusts came out great, but rolling it out with a 16oz. beer can wasn’t really ideal. I certainly learned more about making dough, it should be better next time fo’ sure.</p> <p><img alt="Pizza toppings bar" src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/1.jpg" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>I grilled the crusts alone first. Then it was on to the fixins!</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/2.jpg" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>Back on a warm grill for 10-15 minutes to finish cooking and melt the cheese. Fresh mozzarella is key, don’t skimp with that shredded crap in the bag.</p> <p><img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/3.jpg" height="375" width="500" /></p> <p>Finished product! These came out great, but I nearly broke my cheap ass pizza cutter getting through them.</p></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5604510551924475551.post-38525208673051238432010-09-10T13:57:00.001-04:002012-02-02T14:11:56.354-05:00Thrash to the Bay!<a href="http://main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR?team_id=215243&pg=team&fr_id=13412&s_tafId=146107"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 630px; height: 630px;" src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/FMBC.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5604510551924475551.post-86946755874126267842010-09-09T13:55:00.000-04:002012-02-02T13:57:14.914-05:00<a href="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/tumblr_l81vftBox31qdpmiio1_500.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 630px; height: 591px;" src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/tumblr_l81vftBox31qdpmiio1_500.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>I did some hand painted wrapping paper from recycled materials tonight. I know it’s not <em>face melting</em> per se, but I’m hoping it will melt the face off one, soon-to-be, 7 year old girl. Yeah, it’s koala party at the Cleveland Zoo.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5604510551924475551.post-59798416879396881792010-08-02T13:48:00.000-04:002012-02-02T13:52:34.882-05:00They still call me Ishmael<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGgSNqqWqV1DciiAwW_QcGUmGchqSzl0x7ZI0Z6nI0LDa_H4Wu_0NUqX1RCcdiHws5Ob9wISDd2kQx29M3EpQ14WnmSxNMZAt7-3im5-qZafOSNbTkBStOqIxySA7SkFeS0lDyBmSXru8/s1600/BTJ.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 274px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGgSNqqWqV1DciiAwW_QcGUmGchqSzl0x7ZI0Z6nI0LDa_H4Wu_0NUqX1RCcdiHws5Ob9wISDd2kQx29M3EpQ14WnmSxNMZAt7-3im5-qZafOSNbTkBStOqIxySA7SkFeS0lDyBmSXru8/s400/BTJ.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5704612572369606882" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Made a major score on ebay this morning. I knew this record existed, but had never seen an actual copy anywhere. Not sure if that’s do to it’s rarity or just the band’s lack of popularity. First concert I ever went to at the <a title="Trocadero" target="_blank" href="http://thetroc.com/">Trocadero</a>, these guys opened the show along with Jawbox and Helmet. Loved them right from the start. I actually bought ‘No Reward’ on CD that night (along with a Black Train Jack t-shirt which I can be seen wearing <a title="here" target="_blank" href="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/Ty_Vern.jpg">here</a>). I’m so stoked on this purchase, I don’t even care that I have to pay for shipping from Japan.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5604510551924475551.post-66234437794751312802010-06-02T13:52:00.000-04:002012-02-02T13:55:28.249-05:00<a href="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/tumblr_l7csdaVUC61qdpmiio1_500.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 630px; height: 504px;" src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/swankymodes/tumblr_l7csdaVUC61qdpmiio1_500.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
