First day in FLA! Yesterday’s travels were long. My flight into Orlando was more than 3 hours late. Thankfully, Ty hung in there with the rental car and waited the 4+ hours till my arrival. After that we hit the road for the drive to Gainesville. We finally made it to Will’s place around 3am. Today we didn’t roll out of the apartment until after Noon. First things first, we hit La Margaritas for some lunch. This was the beginning of the Taco Fest as well. Nothing but tacos to eat for yours truly all weekend!
After lunch we drove out to St. Augustine for some beach action. We also walked around town and checked out the old Spanish fortress.
I think some of us had more beach time fun than others.
Afterwards, we headed back to Gainesville and checked out some sweet 3-D movie action. I saw a few people nearly lose their dinners in the theater. Pretty awesome first day.
